The powerhouse of this machine lies in its 1500W motor and PTC heating element, which work together to maintain stable temperatures for consistent extraction. The swivel steam wand and dual-hole nozzle simplify milk frothing, even for beginners. However, the extended heating time and cool-down period might be a hurdle for those eager to jump straight into brewing. Additionally, its lightweight build makes handling the porta filter tricky, risking accidental contact with the heating element. While the machine's output is decent, achieving a truly great espresso may require pairing it with a high-quality grinder,as the current setup isn't ideal for optimal pressure.

1.0 out of 5 stars Returned and used and sold as new? Reviewed in the United States on January 17, 2025
Verified Purchase: I had been watching deals on espresso machines sence December and finally made a purchase only to be severely disappointed in the "state" of the "new" machine upon delivery. I opened the box and pulled out the item and promptly noted the missing water tank - pretty important part for this unit to work. The machine had already been removed from its cellophane wrapping and the unit was dirty. The drip tray appears to have drip marks and there was white crusty dried substance on the steamer pipe and drip tray. What a waste of my time unpackaging only to have to box back up immediately and submit for return. I also bought accompanying items that shipped separate and will need to be returned as well. My recommendation is to quality check returned items prior to placing back in inventory and selling as "new" when they are clearly not.

4.0 out of 5 stars Just go buy a nicer 300+ one for your first Reviewed in the united States on January 17, 2025
Verified Purchase: After hearing the weird loud pumping noise during frothing again on this SECOND machine they sent me as part of warranty for replacement, I just gave up and decided to keep it, because based on the way they dispose imperfect brand new machines, I know even if I return this second one it will go to waste, and I hate that over bad frother. This one is not that expensive so I guess I could pretend I mainly got an espresso machine without frother. It's working fine for making decent espresso, looks cute for the price, but frother effect is unstable (I use a nicer espresso machine at work so I know how to froth) and that ANNOYING PUMPING NOISE! maybe the whole batch in my shipping area all got this malfunction? Customer service is actually really helpful, they act on shipping the replacement pretty fast and I got it the second day they shipped it out. Anyways, do yourself a favor and get a nicer one ($300+) on your first espresso machine purchase if you know you love good coffee! No need to test water and upgrade later, it's actually wasteful.
